Lalu Huram melanjutkan: "Terpujilah TUHAN, Allah orang Israel, yang menjadikan langit dan bumi, karena Ia telah memberikan kepada raja Daud seorang anak yang bijaksana, penuh akal budi dan pengertian, yang akan mendirikan suatu rumah bagi TUHAN dan suatu istana kerajaan bagi dirinya sendiri!
Dan lagi kata Hiram: Segala puji bagi Tuhan, Allah orang Israel, yang sudah menjadikan langit dan bumi, sebab telah dikaruniakan-Nya kepada baginda raja Daud seorang puteranya yang berbudi dan sangat bijaksana dan berakal akan memperbuat sebuah rumah bagi Tuhan dan sebuah istana akan dirinya.

Gill's Notes on the Bible
Huram said, moreover, blessed be the Lord God of Israel, that made heaven and earth,.... Huram seems to have had some good notions of the divine Being, not only as the God of the people of Israel, in a peculiar sense, but as the Former and Maker of all things:
who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding; see 1 Kings 5:7
that might build an house for the Lord, and for his kingdom; as in 2 Chronicles 2:1.
Barnes' Notes on the Bible
The Lord ... that made heaven and earth - This appears to have been a formula designating the Supreme God with several of the Asiatic nations. In the Persian inscriptions Ormazd is constantly called “the great god, who gave” (or made) “heaven and earth.”
