At this, some of the scribes said to themselves, “He’s blaspheming!”
And behold, certaine of the Scribes said within themselues, This man blasphemeth.
And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming."
And some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming!"
Some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, "This man speaks as if he were God. That is blasphemy!"
And some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man blasphemes [by claiming the rights and prerogatives of God]!"
And beholde, certaine of the Scribes saide with themselues, This man blasphemeth.
And some of the scribes said to themselves, "This fellow blasphemes."
And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man blasphemes."
On seeing this, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming!"
Some teachers of the Law of Moses said to themselves, "Jesus must think he is God!"
On seeing this, some of the Torah-teachers said among themselves, "This man is blaspheming!"
And behold, certain of the scribes said to themselves, This [man] blasphemes.
Some of the teachers of the law heard what Jesus said. They said to themselves, "What an insult to God for this man to say that!"
Some of the scribes said among themselves, This man blasphemes.
Then some teachers of the Law said to themselves, "This man is speaking blasphemy!"
And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming!"
And, behold, some of the scribes said within themselves, This One blasphemes.
And behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
And some of the scribes said among themselves, This man has no respect for God.
Behold, some of the Sofrim said to themselves, "This man blasphemes."

But men from among the scribes said within themselves, This blasphemeth.
And some of the Scribes said in their minds, This man blasphemeth.

And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, "This Man blasphemes!"
But some of the teachers of religious law said to themselves, "That's blasphemy! Does he think he's God?"
Some of the teachers of the Law said to themselves, "This man speaks as if He is God, but He is not!"
Then some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming."
And lo! certain of the scribes, said within themselves, - This man, speaketh profanely!
And behold some of the scribes said within themselves: He blasphemeth.
And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming."
And beholde certeyne of ye scribes sayd in the selves this ma blasphemeth.
And lo, certain of the scribes said within themselves, `This one doth speak evil.'
And beholde, certeyne of the scribes sayde in them selues: this man blasphemeth.

You worry about you and let others make their own decisions. Quit condemning others because they don't act like you do, this goes both ways. God accepts all kinds based on their heart.
I'm a hundred percent positive the Lord doesn't care what you eat. But if one person thinks it's wrong to eat something, then it is wrong for them to eat it.
God's outfit is not about what you eat or drink, but living the honorable life of a cowboy who rides for the brand. You live this way by following the Holy Spirit.
Don't tear the crew apart over beans or bacon. They are both fine as long as it doesn't cause another man to fall from the saddle.
Y'all keep saying, "I'm allowed to do whatever I want." But I'm telling you that just because you can doesn't mean you should. Some things don't help people, and that's our main mission.
I don't care if you're eating or drinking, do it for the glory of God.
Don't let anyone judge you for not following their religious rules or ceremonies.

And behold, certain of the Scribes said within themselves,.... And of the Pharisees also, as Luke says; for there were at this time Pharisees and doctors of the law, who were come out of every town of Galilee and Judea, and out of Jerusalem, sitting and hearing him teach, and observing what he said, and did; who upon hearing him pronounce the sentence of pardon, upon this "paralytic" man, reasoned and concluded in their own minds, though they did not care to speak it out, that
this man blasphemeth: the reason was, because they thought he ascribed that to himself, which was peculiar to God: and so he did, and yet did not blaspheme; because he himself was God, of which he quickly gave convincing proofs.

This man blasphemeth - The word âblasphemeâ originally means to speak evil of anyone; to injure by words; to blame unjustly. When applied to God, it means to speak of him unjustly; to ascribe to him acts and attributes which he does not possess; or to speak impiously or profanely. It also means to say or do anything by which his name or honor is insulted, or which conveys an âimpressionâ unfavourable to God. It means. also, to attempt to do, or say a thing, which belongs to him alone, or which he only can do. This is its meaning here. Christ was charged âwith saying a thing in his own name, or attempting to do a thing, which properly belonged to God;â thus assuming the place of God, and doing him injury, as the scribes supposed, by an invasion of his prerogatives. âNone,â said they (see Mark and Luke), âcan forgive sins but God only.â In this they reasoned correctly. See Isaiah 43:25; Isaiah 44:22. None of the prophets had this power; and by saying that âhe forgave sins,â Jesus was understood to affirm that he was divine; and as he proved this by working a miracle expressly to confirm the claim, it follows that he is divine, or equal with the Father.

Verse Matthew 9:3. This man blasphemeth. — βλαÏÏÎ·Î¼ÎµÏ comes either from βλαÏÏειν Ïην Ïημην, to hurt or blast the reputation or credit of another, or from βαλλειν ÏÎ±Î¹Ï ÏημαιÏ, to smite with reports. Whenever it is used in reference to GOD, it simply signifies, to speak impiously of his nature, or attributes, or works. Injurious speaking is its proper translation when referred to man.
The scribes were the literati of that time; and their learning, because not used in dependence on God, rendered them proud, envious, and obstinate. Unsanctified knowledge has still the same effect: that light serves only to blind and lead men out of the way which is not joined with uprightness of heart. The most sacred truths often become an occasion of delusion, where men are under the government of their evil passions.
