Then Manoah asked, “When your words come true, what will be the boy’s responsibilities and work?”
Manoach said, Now let your words happen: what shall be the ordering of the child, and [how] shall we do to him?
And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?
And Manoah said to him, "Now when your words come true, what will be the boy's manner of life and work?"
And Manoah said, "Now when your words come true, what is to be the child's manner of life, and what is his mission?"
So Manoah asked, "When what you say happens, what kind of life should the boy live? What should he do?"
Manoah said, "Now, when your announcement comes true, how should the child be raised and what should he do?"
And Manoah said, "Now when your words come true, what shall be the boy's manner of life, and his vocation?"
Then Manoah said, "Now when your words are fulfilled, what shall be the boy's way of life and his vocation?"
Then Manoah sayde, Nowe let thy saying come to passe: but howe shall we order the childe and doe vnto him?

Manoah then asked, "When your promise comes true, what rules must he obey and what will be his work?"
Manoach asked, "Now, when what you said comes true, what are the guidelines for raising the child? What should be done for him?"
And Manoah said, When thy words then come to pass, what shall be the child's manner and his doing?
So Manoah said, "May what you say happen. Tell me, what kind of life will the boy live? What will he do?"
And Manoah said, Now let your words come to pass. But tell me, what is the manner by which the child is to be brought up, and what shall we do to him?
Then Manoah said, "Now then, when your words come true, what must the boy do? What kind of a life must he lead?"
And Manoah said, Then let Your words come about. What shall be the way of the boy, and his undertaking?
And Manoah sayde: wha it commeth to passe that thou hast sayde, what shal be the maner and worke of ye childe:
And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass: what shall be the ordering of the child, and how shall we do unto him?
And Manoah said, Now when your words come true, what is to be the rule for the child and what will be his work?

To whom Manue seide, Whanne thi word schal be fillid, what wolt thou, that the child do, ethir fro what thing schal he kepe hym silf?
And Manoah saith, `Now let thy words come to pass; what is the custom of the youth -- and his work?'
And Manoah said, Now let your words come to pass: what shall be the ordering of the lad, and [how] shall we do to him?
And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and [how] shall we do to him?

And Mano'ah said, "Now when your words come true, what is to be the boy's manner of life, and what is he to do?"
Manoah said, "So. When what you say comes true, what do you have to tell us about this boy and his work?"
Manoah said, "Now when your words come to pass, what shall be the boy's mode of life and his vocation?"

So disputes broke out between the herdsmen of Abram and Lot. (At that time Canaanites and Perizzites were also living in the land.)
Finally Abram said to Lot, "Let's not allow this conflict to come between us or our herdsmen. After all, we are close relatives!
They also captured Lot—Abram's nephew who lived in Sodom—and carried off everything he owned.
That evening the two angels came to the entrance of the city of Sodom. Lot was sitting there, and when he saw them, he stood up to meet them. Then he welcomed them and bowed with his face to the ground.
He utterly destroyed them, along with the other cities and villages of the plain, wiping out all the people and every bit of vegetation.
But God had listened to Abraham's request and kept Lot safe, removing him from the disaster that engulfed the cities on the plain.
I hate the gatherings of those who do evil, and I refuse to join in with the wicked.
Don't be fooled by those who say such things, for "bad company corrupts good character."

And Manoah said, now let thy words come to pass,.... Which was not only a wish that they might, but a prayer of faith that they would come pass:
how shall we order the child? and how shall we do unto him? he believed a child would be born, and as he was to be a Nazarite, he knew what were the rules and orders to be observed concerning one in common; but as he was to be an extraordinary one, he was desirous of knowing what particular laws and rules were to be observed with respect to him, or what more was to be done to him than to another: the words may be rendered, as in the margin of our Bibles, "what shall be the judgment of the child, and his work?" and seems to relate not to what should be done to it, but what that should do; for being an extraordinary Nazarite, he supposed that some extraordinary work would be done by him, and he was curious to know it; and so Abarbinel interprets it of his request to know things future and wonderful, that should be done after the child was grown up; but this the angel chose not to inform him of, since it might have been prejudicial to them, should the Philistines get knowledge that this child would be a judge and saviour of Israel, and do such and such things to them as he did, they would have sought to have slain his wife while she bare him, or the child when born; and it may be observed, that though the angel told the woman at first, that he should "begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines", Judges 13:5, yet she said nothing of it to her husband, nor did the angel repeat it.
Barnes' Notes on the Bible
Translate, “What shall be the manner (or ordering) of the child, and what shall be his work (or exploits).” The original message of the Angel had given information on these two points:
(1) how the child was to be brought up, namely, as a Nazarite;
(2) what he should do, namely, begin to deliver Israel.
Manoah desires to have the information repeated (compare 1 Samuel 17:26-27, 1 Samuel 17:30). Accordingly, in Judges 13:13 the Angel refers to, and enlarges upon, his former injunctions.
