Prayer for Victory over Enemies.

¹ May the LORD answer you ^(C1)on a day of trouble!
May the ^(C2)name of the ^(C3)God of Jacob ^(F1)protect you!

² May He send you help ^(C1)from the sanctuary,
And ^(C2)support you from Zion!

³ May He ^(C1)remember all your meal offerings
And ^(F1)(C2)accept your burnt offering! Selah

⁴ May He grant you your ^(C1)heart's desire
And ^(C2)fulfill your whole plan!

^5 (F1)We will ^(C1)sing for joy over your ^(F2)victory,
And in the name of our God we will ^(C2)set up our banners.
May the LORD ^(C3)fulfill all your desires.

⁶ Now ^(C1)I know that the LORD saves His anointed;
He will ^(C2)answer him from His holy heaven
With the ^(F1)(C3)saving strength of His right hand.

⁷ Some praise their chariots and some their ^(C1)horses,
But ^(C2)we will praise the name of the LORD, our God.

⁸ They have ^(C1)bowed down and fallen,
But we have ^(C2)risen and stood upright.
