The LORD Exalts the Humble.

^(C1)Praise Him, you ^(C2)servants of the LORD,
Praise the name of the LORD.

^2 (C1)Blessed be the name of the LORD
From this time on and forever.

^3 (C1)From ^(F1)the rising of the sun to its setting,
The ^(C2)name of the LORD is to be praised.

⁴ The LORD is ^(C1)high above all nations;
His ^(C2)glory is above the heavens.

^5 (C1)Who is like the LORD our God,
Who ^(C2)is enthroned on high,

⁶ Who ^(C1)looks far down to
The heavens and the earth?

⁷ He ^(C1)raises the poor from the dust,
He lifts the needy from the garbage heap,

⁸ To ^(C1)seat them with noblemen,
With the noblemen of His people.

⁹ He ^(C1)has the infertile woman live in the house
As a joyful mother of children.
