The LORD Gives Dominion to the King.

^1 (C1)The LORD says to my Lord:
"^(C2)Sit at My right hand
Until I make ^(C3)Your enemies a footstool for Your feet."

² The LORD will stretch out Your strong ^(C1)scepter from Zion, saying,
"^(C2)Rule in the midst of Your enemies."

³ Your ^(C1)people ^(F1)will volunteer freely on the day of Your ^(F2)power;
^(C2)In ^(F3)holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn,
^(F4)Your youth are to You as the ^(C3)dew.

^4 (C1)The LORD has sworn and will ^(C2)not ^(F1)change His mind,
"You are a ^(C3)priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek."

⁵ The Lord is ^(C1)at Your right hand;
He ^(F1)will ^(C2)shatter kings in the ^(C3)day of His wrath.

⁶ He will ^(C1)judge among the nations,
He ^(F1)will fill them with ^(C2)corpses,
He ^(F2)will ^(C3)shatter the ^(F3)chief men over a broad country.

⁷ He will ^(C1)drink from the brook by the wayside;
Therefore He will ^(C2)lift up His head.
