On the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; and you shall afflict your souls: you shall do no manner of work;
And ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work therein:
"‘And on the tenth of this seventh month you will have a holy convocation, and you will afflict yourselves; you will not do any work.
"On the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation and afflict yourselves. You shall do no work,
"‘Have a holy meeting on the tenth day of the seventh month. On that day do not eat and do not work.
"‘On the tenth day of this seventh month you are to have a holy assembly. You must humble yourselves; you must not do any work on it.
'Then on the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy [summoned] assembly [for the Day of Atonement]; and you shall humble yourselves; you shall not do any work.
'Then on the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy assembly, and you shall humble yourselves; you shall not do any work.
And ye shal haue in ye tenth day of the seuenth moneth, an holy conuocation: and ye shall humble your soules, and shall not doe any worke therein:
‘Then on the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall humble yourselves; you shall not do any work.
The Lord said: The tenth day of the seventh month is the Great Day of Forgiveness. On that day you must rest from all work and come together for worship. Show sorrow for your sins by going without food,
"‘On the tenth day of this seventh month you are to have a holy convocation. You are to deny yourselves, and you are not to do any kind of work;
And on the tenth of this seventh month ye shall have a holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls; no manner of work shall ye do.
"There will be a special meeting on the tenth day of the seventh month. During that day you must not eat any food, and you must not do any work.
And you shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month a holy convocation; and you shall do no manner of hard work;
Gather for worship on the tenth day of the seventh month; eat no food and do no work.
“You are to hold a sacred assembly on the tenth day of this seventh month and practice self-denial; do not do any work.
And on the tenth of this seventh month you shall have a holy gathering; you shall do no work of service, you shall humble your souls.
The tenth daye of this seuenth moneth shalbe an holy conuocacion wt you also, and ye shal humble youre soules, and do no seruyle worke therin,
And on the tenth day of this seventh month ye shall have a holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall do no manner of work;
And on the tenth day of this seventh month there will be a holy meeting; keep yourselves from pleasure, and do no sort of work;
And ye shall haue the tenth day of that moneth an holy conuocation, and ye shall humble your soules, and shall do no maner worke therin.
And on the tenth day of this seventh month ye shall have a holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls; ye shall do no manner of work;
And ye shall haue on the tenth day of this seuenth moneth an holy conuocation; and yee shall afflict your soules: yee shall not doe any worke therein.

‘You will have a holy gathering on the tenth day of this seventh month, and be without pride. You must not do any work.
On the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation, and deny yourselves; you shall do no work.
And on the tenth of this seventh month, a holy convocation, shall there be unto you, - when ye shall humble your souls, - no work, shall ye do;
The tenth day also of this seventh month shall be holy and venerable unto you, and you shall afflict your souls; you shall do no servile work therein.
"On the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation, and afflict yourselves; you shall do no work,
"On the tenth day of this seventh month, gather in holy worship, humble yourselves, and do no work.

and ye shall afflict your souls; or persons; their bodies by fasting, and their souls by repentance and humiliation; for this was a grand fast, as it is called Acts 27:9,
ye shall not do any work [therein]; see Leviticus 23:28.
