How Great Are Your Works, O Yahweh

¹ It is ^(C1)good to give thanks to Yahweh
And to ^(C2)sing praises to Your name, O Most High;

² To ^(C1)declare Your lovingkindness in the morning
And Your ^(C2)faithfulness ^(F1)by night,

^3 (F1)With the ^(C1)ten-stringed lute and with the ^(C1)harp,
^(F1)With resounding music ^(F2)upon the ^(C1)lyre.

⁴ For You, O Yahweh, have made me glad by ^(F1)what You ^(C1)have done,
I will ^(C2)sing for joy at the ^(C3)works of Your hands.

⁵ How ^(C1)great are Your works, O Yahweh!
Your ^(F1)(C2)thoughts are very ^(C3)deep.

⁶ A ^(C1)senseless man does not know,
And a ^(C1)fool does not understand this:

⁷ That when the wicked ^(C1)flourished like grass
And all ^(C2)the workers of iniquity blossomed,
It was only that they might be ^(C3)destroyed forevermore.

⁸ But You are ^(C1)on high forever, O Yahweh.

⁹ For, behold, Your enemies, O Yahweh,
For, behold, ^(C1)Your enemies will perish;
All the workers of iniquity will be ^(C2)scattered.

¹⁰ But You have raised up my ^(C1)horn like that of the wild ox;
I have ^(F1)been ^(C2)anointed with fresh oil.

¹¹ And my eye has ^(C1)looked exultantly upon ^(F1)my foes,
My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me.

¹² The ^(C1)righteous man will ^(F1)flourish like the palm tree,
He will grow like a ^(C2)cedar in Lebanon.

^13 (C1)Planted in the house of Yahweh,
They will flourish ^(C2)in the courts of our God.

¹⁴ They will still ^(F1)(C1)yield fruit in old age;
They shall be ^(F2)rich and fresh,

¹⁵ To ^(F1)declare that ^(C1)Yahweh is upright;
He is my ^(C2)rock, and there is ^(C3)no unrighteousness in Him.
