I Have Quieted My Soul

¹ O Yahweh, my heart is not ^(C1)exalted, and my eyes are not ^(C2)raised high;
And I do not ^(F1)involve myself in ^(C3)great matters,
Or in matters ^(C4)too marvelous for me.

² Surely I have ^(C1)soothed and quieted my soul,
Like a weaned ^(C2)child with his mother,
Like a weaned child is my soul ^(F1)within me.

³ O Israel, ^(C1)wait for Yahweh
^(C2)From now until forever.
