I Love Yahweh

^1 (C1)I love Yahweh, because He ^(C2)hears
My voice and my supplications.

² Because He has ^(C1)inclined His ear to me,
So I shall call upon Him in all my days.

³ The ^(C1)cords of death encompassed me
And the ^(F1)distresses of Sheol found me;
I found distress and sorrow.

⁴ Then ^(C1)I called upon the name of Yahweh:
"O Yahweh, I beseech You, ^(F1)(C2)provide my soul escape!"

^5 (C1)Gracious is Yahweh, and ^(C2)righteous;
And our God is ^(C3)compassionate.

⁶ Yahweh keeps ^(C1)the simple;
I was ^(C2)brought low, and He saved me.

⁷ Return to your ^(C1)rest, O my soul,
For Yahweh has ^(C2)dealt bountifully with you.

⁸ For You have ^(C1)rescued my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
My feet from stumbling.

⁹ I shall walk before Yahweh
In the ^(F1)(C1)land of the living.

¹⁰ I ^(C1)believed when I said,
"I am ^(C2)greatly afflicted."

¹¹ I ^(C1)said in my alarm,
"^(C2)All men are liars."

¹² What shall I ^(C1)give to Yahweh in return
For all His ^(C2)bountiful dealings ^(F1)with me?

¹³ I shall lift up the ^(C1)cup of ^(F1)salvation
And ^(C2)call upon the name of Yahweh.

¹⁴ I shall ^(C1)pay my vows to Yahweh,
Oh may it be ^(C2)in the presence of all His people.

^15 (C1)Precious in the sight of Yahweh
Is the death of His holy ones.

¹⁶ O Yahweh, ^(F1)surely I am ^(C1)Your slave,
I am Your slave, the ^(C2)son of Your maidservant,
You have ^(C3)loosed my bonds.

¹⁷ To You I shall offer ^(C1)a sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And ^(C2)call upon the name of Yahweh.

¹⁸ I shall ^(C1)pay my vows to Yahweh,
Oh may it be in the presence of all His people,

¹⁹ In the ^(C1)courts of the house of Yahweh,
In the midst of you, O ^(C2)Jerusalem.
