When daylight came, the elders of the people, both the chief priests and the scribes, convened and brought him before their Sanhedrin.
And assoone as it was day, the Elders of the people, & the chiefe Priests and the Scribes came together, and led him into their Councell, saying,

When day came, the assembly of the elders of the people gathered together, both chief priests and scribes. And they led him away to their council, and they said,

When day came, the council of the elders of the people gathered together, both the chief priests and the experts in the law. Then they led Jesus away to their council

And as soon as it was day, the ancients of the people and the chief priests and scribes came together. And they brought him into their council saying: If thou be the Christ, tell us.
When day came, the assembly of the elders of the people gathered together, both chief priests and scribes; and they led him away to their council, and they said,
And assone as it was daye the elders of the people and the hye prestes and scribes came to gedder and ledde him into their counsell sayinge:
And when it became day there was gathered together the eldership of the people, chief priests also, and scribes, and they led him up to their own sanhedrim,
And whan it was daye, there gathered together the Elders of the people, the hye prestes and scrybes, and led him vp before, their councell, and sayde:
As soon as it was day, the rulers of the people, the chief priests and the Scribes being assembled, they order'd him to be brought before their council,
When it was morning, the religious leaders of the people and the high priests and scholars all got together and brought him before their High Council. They said, "Are you the Messiah?" He answered, "If I said yes, you wouldn't believe me. If I asked what you meant by your question, you wouldn't answer me. So here's what I have to say: From here on the Son of Man takes his place at God's right hand, the place of power." They all said, "So you admit your claim to be the Son of God?" "You're the ones who keep saying it," he said. But they had made up their minds, "Why do we need any more evidence? We've all heard him as good as say it himself."
When the sun rose, the council of leaders, head preachers, and experts on the code of Moses, gathered together for Jesus's trial. They brought Jesus in front of them and questioned him,

The elders of the people; or "the presbytery of the people", that were chosen from among the people to sit in the sanhedrim; the Israelites, as distinct from priests and Levites, and the doctors:
and the chief priests and the Scribes came together; which made up the great sanhedrim, or council of the nation:
and led him into their council; or sanhedrim, the place where the sanhedrim sat, which was in the temple, and in the chamber called
לשכת הגזית, "the paved stone chamber" n; here they usually met, and so the Persic version renders it, "where their congregation was daily there".
