I fell off my horse and heard a voice say, 'Saul, why are you hell-bent on destroying what was heaven-sent?'
and I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?'
and I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?'
And when I went down on the earth, a voice came to my ears saying to me, Saul, Saul, why are you attacking me so cruelly?

As I made my journey - As I was on my journey.
About noon - Acts 26:13, “at mid-day.” This circumstance is omitted by Luke in his account in Acts 9:0: Paul mentions it as being the more remarkable since it occurred at mid-day, to show that he was not deluded by any meteoric or natural appearances, which usually occur at night.
