the miracles which God wrought by the ministry of Paul being of such an extraordinary nature, that by applying the handkerchiefs,
God did powerful things through Paul, things quite out of the ordinary. The word got around and people started taking pieces of clothing—handkerchiefs and scarves and the like—that had touched Paul's skin and then touching the sick with them. The touch did it—they were healed and whole.
God did some mighty powerful things through Paul while he was there.

Abraham looked down into the valley toward the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. He saw clouds of smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace.
God destroyed the cities in the valley, but he remembered what Abraham had said. So God sent Lot away from those cities before destroying them.
These horses and chariots of fire came down to Elisha. He prayed to the Lord and said, "I pray that you will cause these people to become blind." So God did what Elisha asked. He caused the Aramean army to become blind.
Fools aren't smart enough to find their way home, so they must work hard all their lives.
All of them made you tired, but you never gave up. You found new strength, because you enjoyed them.
You go from one place to another looking for help, always changing your mind. But Egypt will also disappoint you, just as Assyria did.

And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul. For the confirmation of the doctrine which he preached, and of his mission, as an apostle; and these were not any sort of miracles, common and vulgar ones, and much less things of chance, and what were merely accidental, as the word may signify; but they were rare and uncommon ones, and in which there was a visible display of the power of God; to whom as the efficient cause they are ascribed, the apostle being only an instrument God made use of.

Special miracles - Miracles that were remarkable; that were not common, or that were very unusual (Î¿Ï Ì ÏαÌÏ ÏÏ ÏÏÌν ou tas tuchoÌn). This expression is Classical Greek. Thus, Longinus says of Moses that he was no common man - Î¿Ï ÌÏ Ì Î¿Ì ÏÏ ÌÏÏν αÌνηÌÏ ouch ho tuchoÌn aneÌr.
