I will put an end to the noise of your songs, and the sound of your lyres will no longer be heard.
I will cause the noise of your songs to cease; and the sound of your harps shall be no more heard.

And I will stop the music of your songs, and the sound of your lyres shall be heard no more.

Thus will I cause the sounde of thy songs to cease, and the sound of thine harpes shall be no more heard.

So I will cause the tumult of your songs to cease, and the sound of your harps will be heard no more.
So I will silence the sound of your songs, and the music of your lyres will no longer be heard.
You will have no reason to sing or play music on harps,
I will put an end to your singing, the sound of your lyres will be heard no more.
And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.
So I will stop the sound of your happy songs. People will not hear your harps anymore.
And I will cause the noise of the multitude of your songs to cease; and the sound of your harpers shall be heard no more.
I will put an end to all your songs, and I will silence the music of your harps.
And, I will put an end to the noise of your songs, and the sound of your lyres will not be heard any longer.
And I will make cease the noise of your songs. And the sound of your harps shall not be heard any more.
Thus wil I brynge the melody of thy songes, & the voyce of thy mynstrelsy to an ende, so that they shal nomore be herde.
And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.

And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease,.... As this city abounded with riches, so with carnal mirth and pleasure; it was a "joyous city", Isaiah 23:7, the inhabitants lived merrily and jovially; were much given to music, which was very diverting and amusing to foreigners that traded with them; but now it would be all over with them; there would be no more songs, nor any to sing them:
and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard; neither vocal nor instrumental music; and this will be one day the case of Rome, of which Tyre was a type, Revelation 18:22.
