But if your slave says to you, ‘I don’t want to leave you,’ because he loves you and your family, and is well off with you,
It shall be, if he tell you, I will not go out from you; because he loves you and your house, because he is well with you;
And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;
And then if it will happen that he says to you, ‘I do not want to go out from you,' because he loves you and your family, because it is good for him to be with you;
But if he says to you, ‘I will not go out from you,' because he loves you and your household, since he is well-off with you,
But if your slave says to you, "I don't want to leave you," because he loves you and your family and has a good life with you,
However, if the servant says to you, "I do not want to leave you," because he loves you and your household, since he is well off with you,
"Now if the servant says to you, 'I will not leave you,' because he loves you and your household, since he is doing well with you;
"But it shall come about, if he says to you, 'I will not leave you,' because he loves you and your household, since he is doing well with you,
And if he say vnto thee, I will not go away from thee, because he loueth thee & thine house, and because he is well with thee,
And it will be that, if he says to you, ‘I will not go out from you,' because he loves you and your household, since he fares well with you;
But one of your slaves may say, "I love you and your family, and I would be better off staying with you, so please don't make me leave."
But if he says to you, ‘I don't want to leave you,' because he loves you and your household, and because his life with you is a good one;
And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee,—because he loveth thee and thy house, because he is well with thee,—
"But one of your slaves might say to you, ‘I will not leave you.' He might say this because he loves you and your family and because he has a good life with you.
But if he says to you. I will not go away from you, because I love you and your household, and because it is better for me to be with you,
"But your slave may not want to leave; he may love you and your family and be content to stay.
And it shall be, if he says to you, I will not go out from you, because he loves you and your house, because it was good for him with you;
But yf he saye vnto the: I wyll not go out awaye from the, for I loue ye and thine house (in so moch as he is well at ease with the)
And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go out from thee; because he loveth thee and thy house, because he is well with thee;
But if he says to you, I have no desire to go away from you; because you and your family are dear to him and he is happy with you;
And if he say vnto thee, I wyll not go away from thee: because he loueth thee and thine house, and is well at ease with thee:
And it shall be, if he say unto thee: 'I will not go out from thee'; because he loveth thee and thy house, because he fareth well with thee;
And it shall be if he say vnto thee, I will not goe away from thee, because he loueth thee, and thine house, because he is well with thee:
And if he should say to thee, I will not go out from thee, because he continues to love thee and thy house, because he is well with thee;

"But suppose your servant says, ‘I will not leave you,' because he loves you and your family, and he has done well with you.
But he may say to you, ‘I will not leave you,' because he loves you and those of your house and gets along well with you.
But if he says to you, "I will not go out from you," because he loves you and your household, since he is well off with you,
And it shall be, if he shall say unto thee, I will not go away from thee, - because he loveth thee, and thy household, because he is well off with thee,
But if he say: I will not depart: because he loveth thee, and thy house, and findeth that he is well with thee:
But if he says to you, 'I will not go out from you,' because he loves you and your household, since he fares well with you,
But if your slave, because he loves you and your family and has a good life with you, says, "I don't want to leave you," then take an awl and pierce through his earlobe into the doorpost, marking him as your slave forever. Do the same with your women slaves who want to stay with you.

And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee,.... Out of his house, nor quit his service:
because he loveth thee and thine house; his master and his family, and so loath to leave them, but chooses rather to stay with them than have his liberty; hence the Jews say k, if his master has not a wife and children, his ear is not to be bored:
because he is well with thee; lives well with him, is well used by him, wants for nothing, and enjoys peace and quietness, and has everything to make him happy as such a state will admit of, and with the which he is well contented, and highly pleased. This is an emblem of the cheerful and constant obedience of the people of Christ to him their master, flowing from love to him; whom they love above all persons and things, with all their heart and soul, and his house also, the place of his worship, his ordinances, truths, ministers and children; and therefore choose to be where they are, finding that they are there well used, fare well, having bread enough and to spare, spiritual provisions in plenty; are well clothed with the righteousness of Christ, have the good company of the saints and excellent in the earth, in whom is all their delight; and, above all, the presence of their Lord and master, and the smiles of his countenance.

Barnes' Notes on the Bible
The commands here are repeated from Exodus 21:2-6, with amplifications relative to the maidservant Deuteronomy 15:12 and to the making (Deuteronomy 15:13 ff) liberal provision for launching the freedman on an independent course of life. The release of the servant is connected with the sabbatical principle though not with the sabbatical year. It is noteworthy also that the prospect of a gift of this sort, the amount of which was left to the masterâs discretion, would be likely to encourage diligence and faithfulness during the years of servitude.

He hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years - âi. e.â such a servant has earned twice as much as a common hired laborer would have done in the same time.
