A Call to Praise the LORD for His Righteousness.

¹ O sing to the LORD a ^(C1)new song,
For He has done ^(C2)marvelous and wonderful things;
His ^(C3)right hand and His ^(C4)holy arm have ^(F1)gained the victory for Him.

^2 (C1)The LORD has made known His salvation;
He has openly ^(C2)revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations. ^(VR1)

³ He has graciously ^(C1)remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
^(C2)All the ends of the earth have witnessed the salvation of our God. ^(VR1)

^4 (C1)Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth;
^(C2)Shout in jubilation and sing for joy and sing praises.

⁵ Sing praises to the LORD with the ^(C1)lyre,
With the lyre and the ^(C2)sound of melody.

⁶ With ^(C1)trumpets and the sound of the horn
^(C2)Shout with joy before ^(C3)the King, the LORD.

⁷ Let the ^(C1)sea thunder and roar, and all the things it contains,
The ^(C2)world and those who dwell in it.

⁸ Let the ^(C1)rivers clap their hands;
Let the ^(C2)mountains sing together for joy and delight

⁹ Before the LORD, for He is coming to ^(C1)judge the earth;
He will judge the world with righteousness
And ^(C2)the peoples with fairness.
