God's Abundant Favor to Earth and Man.

¹ To You belongs silence the submissive wonder of reverence, and it bursts into praise in Zion, O God;
And to You the ^(C1)vow shall be performed.

² O You who hear prayer,
To You ^(C1)all mankind comes.

^3 (C1)Wickedness and guilt prevail against me;
Yet as for our transgressions,
You ^(C2)forgive them removing them from Your sight.

^4 (C1)Blessed is the one whom You ^(C2)choose and bring near
To dwell in Your courts.
We will be ^(C3)filled with the goodness of Your house,
Your holy temple.

⁵ By ^(C1)awesome and wondrous things You answer us in righteousness, O ^(C2)God of our salvation,
You who are the trust and hope of all the ^(C3)ends of the earth and of the farthest ^(C4)sea;

⁶ Who ^(C1)creates the mountains by His strength,
Being ^(C2)clothed with power,

⁷ Who ^(C1)stills the roaring of the seas,
The roaring of their waves,
And the ^(C2)tumult of the peoples,

⁸ So they who dwell at the ends of the earth ^(C1)stand in awe of Your signs the evidence of Your presence. ^(VR1)
You make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy.

⁹ You visit the earth and ^(C1)make it overflow with water;
You greatly ^(C2)enrich it;
The ^(C3)stream of God is full of water;
You provide their ^(C4)grain, when You have prepared the earth.

¹⁰ You water its furrows abundantly,
You smooth its ridges;
You soften it ^(C1)with showers,
You bless its growth.

¹¹ You crown the year with Your ^(C1)bounty,
And Your paths ^(C2)overflow.

^12 (C1)The pastures of the wilderness drip with dew,
And the ^(C2)hills are encircled with joy.

¹³ The meadows are ^(C1)clothed with flocks
And the valleys are ^(C2)covered with grain;
They ^(C3)shout for joy and they sing.
