God the King of the Earth.

¹ O ^(C1)clap your hands, all you people;
^(C2)Shout to God with the voice of triumph and songs of joy.

² For the LORD Most High is to be ^(C1)feared and worshiped with awe-inspired reverence and obedience;
He is a ^(C2)great King over all the earth.

³ He ^(C1)subdues peoples under us
And nations under our feet.

⁴ He chooses our ^(C1)inheritance for us,
The ^(C2)glory and excellence of Jacob whom He loves. ^(VR1) Selah.

⁵ God has ^(C1)ascended amid shouting,
The LORD with the ^(C2)sound of a trumpet.

^6 (C1)Sing praises to God, sing praises;
Sing praises to ^(C2)our King, sing praises.

⁷ For God is the ^(C1)King of all the earth;
Sing praises ^(C2)in a skillful psalm and with understanding.

⁸ God ^(C1)reigns over the nations;
God sits on ^(C2)His holy throne.

⁹ The ^(C1)princes of the people have gathered together as the ^(C2)people of the God of Abraham,
For the ^(C3)shields of the earth belong to God;
He is ^(C4)highly exalted.
