Prayer for Victory over Enemies.

^1 (F1)May the LORD answer you (David) ^(C1)in the day of trouble!
May the ^(C2)name of the ^(C3)God of Jacob set you securely on high and defend you in battle!

² May He send you help ^(C1)from the sanctuary (His dwelling place)
And ^(C2)support and strengthen you from Zion!

^3 (C1)May He remember all your meal offerings
And ^(C2)accept your burnt offering. Selah.

⁴ May He grant you your ^(C1)heart's desire
And ^(C2)fulfill all your plans.

⁵ We will sing joyously over your ^(C1)victory,
And in the name of our God we will ^(C2)set up our banners.
May the LORD ^(C3)fulfill all your petitions.

⁶ Now ^(C1)I know that the LORD saves His anointed;
He will ^(C2)answer him from His holy heaven
With the ^(C3)saving strength of His right hand.

⁷ Some trust in chariots and some in ^(C1)horses,
But ^(C2)we will remember and trust in the name of the LORD our God.

⁸ They have ^(C1)bowed down and fallen,
But we have ^(C2)risen and stood upright.

⁹ O LORD, ^(C1)save the ^(F1)king;
May the ^(F2)(C2)King answer us in the day we call.
