Thanksgiving Expressed

¹ And on that day you will say,
"^(C1)I will give thanks to You, O LORD;
For ^(C2)though You were angry with me,
Your anger has turned away,
And You comfort me.

² "Behold, ^(C1)God, my salvation!
I will ^(C2)trust and not be afraid,
For ^(C3)the LORD GOD is my strength and song;
Yes, He has become my salvation."

³ Therefore with joy you will ^(C1)draw water
From the ^(C2)springs of salvation.

⁴ And in that day you will ^(C1)say,
"^(C2)Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name in prayer.
^(C3)Make His deeds known among the peoples of the earth;
Proclaim to them that His name is exalted!"

⁵ Sing ^(C1)praises to the LORD, for He has done excellent and glorious things;
Let this be known throughout the earth.

^6 (C1)Rejoice and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,
For ^(C2)great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.
