When the young woman would go to the king, she was given whatever she requested to take with her from the harem to the palace.
then in this wise came the maiden to the king: whatever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women to the king's house.
Then thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house.
when the young woman went in to the king in this way, she was given whatever she desired to take with her from the harem to the king's palace.

When her time came to go in to the king, she could choose to wear or take whatever she wanted from the women's living area.
Then thus came every maiden before the king; whatever she de sired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women to the kings house.
When she went from the harem to the palace, she could wear whatever she wanted.
in this way, the girl goes to the king and all that she asks is given to her to take with her from the harem to the king's palace.
And in this way the young woman goes in to the king. All she says is given to her to go with her out of the house of the women to the king's house.
then wente there one damsell vnto ye kynge, and what so euer she requyred, yt must be geue her to go wt her out of the Womens buyldinge vnto ye kynges palace.
then in this wise came the maiden unto the king: Whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house.
And in this way the girl went in to the king; whatever she had a desire for was given to her to take with her from the women's house into the house of the king.

And then the damsel goes in to the king; and the officer to whomsoever he shall give the command, will bring her to come in with him from the womens apartment to the kings chamber.
then in this wise came the maiden unto the king, whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house.
And thei entriden to the kyng, and what euer thing perteynynge to ournement thei axiden, thei token; and thei weren araied as it pleside hem, and passiden fro the chaumbre of wymmen to the kyngis bed.
then in this wise the maiden came to the king: whatever she desired was given to her to go with her out of the house of the women to the king's house.
Then thus came [every] maiden to the king; whatever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women to the king's house.
Thus prepared, each young woman went to the king, and she was given whatever she desired to take with her from the women's quarters to the king's palace.
When it was time for her to go to the king's palace, she was given her choice of whatever clothing or jewelry she wanted to take from the harem.

When the girl went in to the king she was given whatever she asked for to take with her from the harem to the king's palace.
then, indeed, the maiden came in unto the king, - whatsoever she might mention, was given her, to go with her, out of the house of the women up to the house of the king:
And when they were going in to the king, whatsoever they asked to adorn themselves they received: and being decked out, as it pleased them, they passed from the chamber of the women to the king’s chamber.
when the maiden went in to the king in this way she was given whatever she desired to take with her from the harem to the king's palace.
and with this the young woman hath come in unto the king, all that she saith is given to her, to go in with her, out of the house of the women, unto the house of the king;
the young lady would go in to the king in this way: anything that she desired was given her to take with her from the harem to the king's palace.

Then thus came every virgin unto the king,.... When her twelve months were up, and she was purified in the manner before observed:
whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house; whatever she commanded the chamberlain was obliged to furnish her with, or grant it to her, whether for ornament, as jewels, rich apparel, c. or for attendance whatever prince or peer she required to accompany her to the king, was to be obtained for her, as the Targum: and everything for mirth, all kinds of songs, or instruments of music, as Jarchi.

Verse 13. Whatsoever she desired — When any of the young women were called to go to the king, it appears that it was an ordinance that whatever kind of dress stuff, colour, jewels, &c., they thought best to set off their persons, and render them more engaging, should be given them.
