Then the Lord called Samuel, and he answered, “Here I am.”
that the LORD called Shemu'el; and he said, Here am I.
That the Lord called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.
Then Yahweh called out to Samuel and he said, "Here I am!"
Then the Lord called Samuel, and he said, "Here I am!"
Then the Lord called Samuel, and Samuel answered, "I am here!"
The Lord called to Samuel, and he replied, "Here I am!"
that the LORD called Samuel; and he said, "Here I am."
Then the Lorde called Samuel: and hee said, Here I am.
that Yahweh called Samuel; and he said, "Here I am."
when the Lord called out Samuel's name. "Here I am!" Samuel answered.
Adonai called, "Sh'mu'el!" and he answered, "Here I am."
that Jehovah called to Samuel. And he said, Here am I.
The Lord called Samuel, and Samuel answered, "Here I am."
And the LORD called Samuel; and he answered, Here I am.

And Jehovah called to Samuel. And he said, Behold me.

Suddenly the Lord called out, "Samuel!" "Yes?" Samuel replied. "What is it?"
Then the Lord called Samuel, and Samuel said, "Here I am."
Then the Lord called, "Samuel! Samuel!" and he said, "Here I am!"
that Yahweh called unto Samuel, and he said - Behold me!
And the Lord called Samuel. And he answered: Here am I.
Then the LORD called, "Samuel! Samuel!" and he said, "Here I am!"
Then God called out, "Samuel, Samuel!" Samuel answered, "Yes? I'm here." Then he ran to Eli saying, "I heard you call. Here I am." Eli said, "I didn't call you. Go back to bed." And so he did.

Then Elijah said to Ahaziah, "Thus says the LORD: 'Since you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub, god of Ekron—is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of His word?—therefore you will not leave the bed on which you lie, but will certainly die.'"
And Elisha said to him, "Go, say to him, 'You will certainly recover,' but the LORD has shown me that he will certainly die."
He says to himself, "God has [quite] forgotten; He has hidden His face; He will never see my deed."

But I am afraid that, even as the serpent beguiled Eve by his cunning, your minds may be corrupted and led away from the simplicity of [your sincere and] pure devotion to Christ.

That the Lord called Samuel,.... By a voice which came forth from the most holy place, from between the cherubim, the seat of the divine Majesty:
and he answered, here am I; which was not intended to declare the place where he was, but to express his readiness and cheerfulness to do any thing that was required of him.
