The sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Samuel—the chiefs of their families. During David's reign, the Tola family counted 22,600 warriors in their lineage. The son of Uzzi was Izrahiah; the sons of Izrahiah were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah—five sons and all of them chiefs. They counted 36,000 warriors in their lineage because they had more wives and sons than their brothers. The extended families of Issachar accounted for 87,000 warriors—all of them listed in the family tree.

4 And with them, by their generations, after the house of their fathers, were bands of soldiers for war, six and thirty thousand men: for they had many wives and sons. 4 And along with them, by their generations, according to their fathers' houses, were units of the army for war, 36,000, for they had many wives and sons. 4 Their family history shows they had thirty-six thousand men ready to serve in the army, because they had many wives and children.
4 According to the genealogical records of their families, they had 36,000 warriors available for battle, for they had numerous wives and sons. 4 With them by their generations according to their fathers' households were 36,000 troops of the army for war, for they had many wives and children.4 And with them by their generations according to their fathers' households were thirty-six thousand (F1)troops of the army for war; for they had many wives and sons.4 With them, by their generations, after their fathers' houses, were bands of the host for war, thirty-six thousand; for they had many wives and sons. 4 And with them in their generations after the houshold of their fathers were bandes of men of warre for battel, sixe and thirtie thousand: for they had many wiues and children.4 With them by their generations according to their fathers' households were 36,000 (F1)troops of the army for war, for they had many wives and sons.4 In addition to them, according to their genealogy, they had 36,000 troops for battle, for they had many wives and children. 4 Their families were so large that they had 36,000 soldiers in their clans. 4 With them, by their generations, in their fathers' clans, were army troops organized for war, 36,000 of them, because they had many women and children.
4 And with them by their generations, according to their fathers' houses, were military bands for war, thirty-six thousand; for they had many wives and sons. 4 Their family history shows they had 36,000 soldiers ready for war. They had a large family because they had many wives and children.4 And with them by their generations, according to their fathers house, were valiant men of war, thirty-six thousand men; for they had many wives and sons. 4 They had so many wives and children that their descendants were able to provide 36,000 men for military duty. 4 And in addition to them, according to their generations, according to the house of their fathers, were troops of the army for war: thirty-six thousand. For they had[b] many wives and sons. 4 And with them, by their generations, according to their fathers' house, were bands of soldiers for war, thirty six thousand; for they multiplied wives and sons.4 And with them amonge their kynred in the house of their fathers there were ready harnessed men of warre to the battayll, sixe and thirtie thousande: for they had many wiues and children. 4 And with them, by their generations, after their fathers' houses, were bands of the host for war, six and thirty thousand; for they had many wives and sons. 4 And with them, recorded in generations by their families, were bands of fighting-men, thirty-six thousand of them, for they had a great number of wives and sons.4 And with them in their generations after the houshold of their fathers, were sixe and thirtie thousande souldiers and valiaunt men of warre: For they had many wyues and sonnes.4 And with them, by their generations, after their fathers' houses, were bands of the host for war, six and thirty thousand; for they had many wives and sons.4 And with them, by their generations, after the house of their fathers, were bands of souldiers for warre, sixe and thirtie thousand men: for they had many wiues and sonnes. 4 And with them, according to their generations, according to the houses of their families, were men mighty to set armies in array for war, thirty and six thousand, for they had multiplied their wives and children. 4 And with them, by their generations, after their fathers’ houses, were bands of the host for war, six and thirty thousand: for they had many wives and sons. 4 And with hem weren bi her meynees and puplis, sixe and thretti thousynde strongeste men gird to batel; for thei hadden many wyues and sones.4 And with them, by their generations, after their fathers' houses, were bands of the host for war, six and thirty thousand; for they had many wives and sons.4 And with them, by their generations, after the house of their fathers, [were] bands of soldiers for war, six and thirty thousand [men]: for they had many wives and sons.4 And with them, by their generations, according to their fathers' houses, were thirty-six thousand troops ready for war; for they had many wives and sons. 4 All of them had many wives and many sons, so the total number of men available for military service among their descendants was 36,000. 4 With them by their families and by their fathers' houses were 36,000 men ready to fight.
