3 (C1)The Levites were numbered from thirty years old and upward, and (C2)their number by (F1)census of men was 38,000.4 “Of these,” David said, “twenty-four thousand are to be in charge of the work on the Lord’s temple,(C1) six thousand are to be officers and judges,(C2) 4 Of these, twenty-four thousand were to oversee the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand were officers and judges;4 Of which, twenty and four thousand were to set forward the work of the house of the Lord; and six thousand were officers and judges: 4 "Twenty-four thousand of these," David said,[b] (f)"shall have charge of the work in the house of the Lord, 6,000 shall be (g)officers and judges, 4 David said, "Of these, twenty-four thousand Levites will direct the work of the Temple of the Lord, six thousand Levites will be officers and judges, 4 David said, "Of these, 24,000 are to direct the work of the Lord's temple; 6,000 are to be officials and judges; 4 Of these (F1)24,000 were (C1)to oversee and inspect the work of the house of the LORD and 6,000 were to be (C2)administrators and judges,4 Of these, twenty-four thousand were (C1)to oversee the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand were (C2)officers and judges,4 Of these, twenty-four thousand were to oversee the work of the house of Yahweh; and six thousand were officers and judges; 4 Of these foure and twentie thousande were set to aduance the worke of the house of the Lord, & sixe thousand were ouerseers and iudges.4 Of these, 24,000 were (C1)to direct the work of the house of Yahweh; and 6,000 were (C2)officers and judges,4 “Of these,” said David, &ldquo(a);24,000 are to oversee the work of the house of the LORD, 6,000 are to be officers and judges, 4 He said, "Twenty-four thousand of the Levites will be in charge of the temple, six thousand will be temple officials and judges, 4 Of these, 24,000 were to oversee the work on the house of Adonai, while 6,000 were officials and judges,
4 Of these, twenty-four thousand were to preside over the work of the house of Jehovah; and six thousand were officers and judges; 4 David said, "24,000 will supervise the work of building the Lord's Temple. 6000 will be court officers and judges.4 Of them David appointed overseers over the work of the house of the LORD, twenty-four men over every thousand workers; and judges and scribes, six men over each hundred workers 4 The king assigned twenty-four thousand to administer the work of the Temple, six thousand to keep records and decide disputes, 4 Of these, David said, "Twenty-four thousand are to direct the work of the house of Yahweh, along with six thousand judges and officials, 4 Of these, twenty four thousand to be overseers over the work of the house of Jehovah; and six thousand were officers and judges;4 of whom there were foure & twentie thousande, which dyd their diligence in the worke ouer ye house of the LORDE, and sixe thousande officers and Iudges, 4 Of these, twenty and four thousand were to oversee the work of the house of Jehovah; and six thousand were officers and judges; 4 Of these, twenty-four thousand were to be overseers of the work of the house of the Lord, and six thousand were judges and men of authority;4 Of which twentie and foure thousand were set to further the worke of the house of the Lorde: and sixe thousande were officers and iudges.4 Of these, twenty and four thousand were to oversee the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand were officers and judges;4 Of which, twentie and foure thousand were to set forward the work of the house of the Lord: and sixe thousand were Officers and Iudges. 4 Of the overseers over the works of the house of the Lord there were twenty-four thousand, and there were six thousand scribes and judges; 4 Of these, twenty and four thousand were to oversee the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand were officers and judges: 4 And foure and twenty thousynde men weren chosun of hem, and weren departid in to the seruyce of the hows of the Lord; sotheli of souereyns, and iugis, sixe thousynde;4 Of these, twenty and four thousand were to oversee the work of the house of Yahweh; and six thousand were officers and judges;4 Of which, twenty and four thousand [were] to oversee the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand [were] officers and judges:4 Of these, twenty-four thousand were to look after the work of the house of the LORD, six thousand were officers and judges, 4 Then David said, "From all the Levites, 24,000 will supervise the work at the Temple of the Lord. Another 6,000 will serve as officials and judges. 4 Of these, 24,000 were to watch over the work of the Lord's house. There were 6,000 who were leaders and men who were to judge. 4 "Twenty-four thousand of these," David said, "shall have charge of the work in the house of the Lord, six thousand shall be officers and judges, 4 Of these - to preside over the work of the house of Yahweh, were twenty-four thousand, - and officers and judges, six thousand;4 Of these twenty-four thousand were chosen, and distributed unto the ministry of the house of the Lord: and six thousand were the overseers and judges.4 "Twenty-four thousand of these," David said, "shall have charge of the work in the house of the LORD, six thousand shall be officers and judges,4 Of these to preside over the work of the house of Jehovah [are] twenty and four thousand, and officers and judges six thousand,4 Of these, twenty-four thousand [are] to preside over the work of the house of YHWH, and six thousand officers and judges,4 Of these, 24,000 were (C1)to oversee the work of the house of the LORD; and 6,000 were (C2)officers and judges,5 four thousand are to be gatekeepers, and four thousand are to praise the Lord with the instruments that I have made for worship.”(C1)
5 and four thousand were doorkeepers; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, [said David], to praise therewith.5 Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the Lord with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith. 5 4,000 gatekeepers, and 4,000 shall offer praises to the Lord with the instruments (h)that I have made for praise." 5 four thousand Levites will be gatekeepers, and four thousand Levites will praise the Lord with musical instruments I made for giving praise." 5 4,000 are to be gatekeepers; and 4,000 are to praise the Lord with the instruments I supplied for worship." 5 and 4,000 were gatekeepers, and (C1)4,000 musicians were to praise the LORD with the instruments which David made for giving praise.5 and four thousand were gatekeepers, and (C1)four thousand were praising the LORD with the instruments which (F1)David made for giving praise.5 and four thousand were doorkeepers; and four thousand praised Yahweh with the instruments which I made, [said David], to praise therewith. 5 And foure thousand were porters, and foure thousande praised the Lorde with instruments which he made to praise the Lord.5 and 4,000 were gatekeepers, and (C1)4,000 were praising Yahweh with the instruments which (F1)David made for giving praise.5 4,000 are to be gatekeepers, and 4,000 are to praise the LORD with the instruments I have made for giving praise.” 5 four thousand will be guards at the temple, and four thousand will praise the Lord by playing the musical instruments I have given them." 5 4,000 were gatekeepers, and 4,000 sang praise to Adonai "with the instruments I made for the purpose of singing praise."
5 and four thousand were doorkeepers; and four thousand praised Jehovah with the instruments which I made, [said David,] to praise [therewith]. 5 4000 will be gatekeepers, and 4000 will be musicians. I made special musical instruments for them. They will use them to praise the Lord."5 To look after the building, to carry on their work, to oversee the resources and the work, and to give an accounting of wealth and the alms which they had distributed to the poor. 5 four thousand to do guard duty, and four thousand to praise the Lord, using the musical instruments provided by the king for this purpose. 5 four thousand gatekeepers, and four thousand offering praise with the instruments that I have made for praise." 5 and four thousand were gatekeepers, and four thousand giving praise to Jehovah with instruments which I made, said David , for praising.5 and foure thousande porters, & foure thousande that songe prayses vnto ye LORDE with instrumentes, which he had made to synge prayse with all. 5 and four thousand were doorkeepers; and four thousand praised Jehovah with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith. 5 Four thousand were door-keepers; and four thousand gave praise to the Lord with the instruments which I made, said David, for giving praise.5 Foure thousande were porters, & foure thousand praysed the Lorde with such instrumentes as was made to prayse withall.5 and four thousand were doorkeepers; and four thousand praised the LORD 'with the instruments which I made to praise therewith.' 5 Moreouer, foure thousand were porters, and foure thousand praised the Lord with the instruments which I made (said Dauid) to praise therewith. 5 and four thousand door-keepers, and four thousand to praise the Lord with instruments which he made to praise the Lord. 5 and four thousand were doorkeepers; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, [said David], to praise therewith. 5 forsothe foure thousynde `porteris weren, and so many syngeris, syngynge to the Lord in orguns, whiche Dauid hadde maad for to synge.5 and four thousand were doorkeepers; and four thousand praised Yahweh with the instruments which I made, [said David], to praise therewith.5 Moreover, four thousand [were] porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, [said David], to praise [with them].5 four thousand were gatekeepers, and four thousand praised the LORD with musical instruments, "which I made," said David, "for giving praise." 5 Another 4,000 will work as gatekeepers, and 4,000 will praise the Lord with the musical instruments I have made." 5 There were 4,000 gate-keepers. And 4,000 were praising the Lord with the things for playing music that David had made. 5 four thousand gatekeepers, and four thousand shall offer praises to the Lord with the instruments that I have made for praise." 5 and four thousand, were doorkeepers, - and, four thousand, were offerers of praise unto Yahweh, with instruments, which said David I made for offering praise.5 Moreover four thousand were porters: and as many singers singing to the Lord with the instruments, which he had made to sing with.5 four thousand gatekeepers, and four thousand shall offer praises to the LORD with the instruments which I have made for praise."5 and four thousand gatekeepers, and four thousand giving praise to Jehovah, `with instruments that I made for praising,' [saith David.]5 and four thousand gatekeepers, and four thousand giving praise to YHWH, "with instruments that I made for praising," [says David.]5 and 4,000 were gatekeepers, and (C1)4,000 were praising the LORD with the instruments which (F1)David made for giving praise.
6 Then David divided them into divisions according to Levi’s sons:(C1) Gershom,(F1) Kohath, and Merari.

6 David then divided the Levites into three groups according to the clans of Levi's sons, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

And David appointed them all in their courses according to the sons of Levi; namely, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
