NAS – (For the Pharisees and all the {other} Jews do not eat unless they carefully wash their hands, {thereby} holding firmly to the tradition of the elders;
NA26 – οἱ γὰρ Φαρισαῖοι καὶ πάντες οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι ἐὰν μὴ πυγμῇ νίψωνται (5672) τὰς χεῖρας οὐκ ἐσθίουσιν, (5719) κρατοῦντες (5723) τὴν παράδοσιν τῶν πρεσβυτέρων,
WH – οι γαρ φαρισαιοι και παντες οι ιουδαιοι εαν μη πυγμη νιψωνται (5672) τας χειρας ουκ εσθιουσιν (5719) κρατουντες (5723) την παραδοσιν των πρεσβυτερων

NAS – And the Pharisees and the scribes asked Him, "Why do Your disciples not walk in accordance with the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unholy hands?"
NA26 – καὶ ἐπερωτῶσιν (5719) αὐτὸν οἱ Φαρισαῖοι καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς, Διὰ τί οὐ περιπατοῦσιν (5719) οἱ μαθηταί σου κατὰ τὴν παράδοσιν τῶν πρεσβυτέρων, ἀλλὰ κοιναῖς χερσὶν ἐσθίουσιν (5719) τὸν ἄρτον;
WH – και επερωτωσιν (5719) αυτον οι φαρισαιοι και οι γραμματεις δια τι ου περιπατουσιν (5719) οι μαθηται σου κατα την παραδοσιν των πρεσβυτερων αλλα κοιναις χερσιν εσθιουσιν (5719) τον αρτον
