NAS – It happened that whenever the chest was brought to the king's officer by the Levites, and they saw that the money was substantial, the king's scribe and the chief priest's officer would come and empty the chest, and pick it up and return it to its place. They did this daily and collected a large amount of money.

ALE – ויהי בעת יביא את הארון אל פקדת המלך ביד הלוים וכראותם כי רב הכסף ובא סופר המלך ופקיד כהן הראש ויערו את הארון וישאהו וישיבהו אל מקמו כה עשו ליום ביום ויאספו כסף לרב

BHS – וַיְהִ֡י בְּעֵת֩ יָבִ֙יא אֶת־הָֽאָרֹ֜ון אֶל־פְּקֻדַּ֣ת הַמֶּלֶךְ֮ בְּיַ֣ד הַלְוִיִּם֒ וְכִרְאֹותָ֞ם כִּי־רַ֣ב הַכֶּ֗סֶף וּבָ֙א סֹופֵ֤ר הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ וּפְקִיד֙ כֹּהֵ֣ן הָרֹ֔אשׁ וִיעָ֙רוּ֙ אֶת־הָ֣אָרֹ֔ון וְיִשָּׂאֻ֖הוּ וִֽישִׁיבֻ֣הוּ אֶל־מְקֹמֹ֑ו כֹּ֤ה עָשׂוּ֙ לְיֹ֣ום׀ בְּיֹ֔ום וַיַּֽאַסְפוּ־כֶ֖סֶף לָרֹֽב׃

RAH – καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς εἰσέφερον τὸ γλωσσόκομον πρὸς τοὺς προστάτας τοῦ βασιλέως διὰ χειρὸς τῶν Λευιτῶν καὶ ὡς εἶδον ὅτι ἐπλεόνασεν τὸ ἀργύριον, καὶ ἦλθεν ὁ γραμματεὺς τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ ὁ προστάτης τοῦ ἱερέως τοῦ μεγάλου καὶ ἐξεκένωσαν τὸ γλωσσόκομον καὶ κατέστησαν εἰς τὸν τόπον αὐτοῦ· οὕτως ἐποίουν ἡμέραν ἐξ ἡμέρας καὶ συνήγαγον ἀργύριον πολύ.
