NAS – So the five men departed and came to Laish, and saw the people who were in it living in security, in the way of the Sidonians, quiet and unsuspecting; for there was no oppressive ruler humiliating {them} for anything in the land, and they were far from the Sidonians and had no dealings with anyone.

ALE – וילכו חמשת האנשים ויבאו לישה ויראו את העם אשר בקרבה יושבת לבטח כמשפט צדנים שקט ובטח ואין מכלים דבר בארץ יורש עצר ורחוקים המה מצידנים ודבר אין להם עם אדם

BHS – וַיֵּלְכוּ֙ חֲמֵ֣שֶׁת הָאֲנָשִׁ֔ים וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ לָ֑יְשָׁה וַיִּרְא֣וּ אֶת־הָעָ֣ם אֲשֶׁר־בְּקִרְבָּ֣הּ יֹושֶֽׁבֶת־֠לָבֶטַח כְּמִשְׁפַּ֨ט צִדֹנִ֜ים שֹׁקֵ֣ט׀ וּבֹטֵ֗חַ וְאֵין־מַכְלִ֙ים דָּבָ֤ר בָּאָ֙רֶץ֙ יֹורֵ֣שׁ עֶ֔צֶר וּרְחֹקִ֥ים הֵ֙מָּה֙ מִצִּ֣דֹנִ֔ים וְדָבָ֥ר אֵין־ עִם־אָדָֽם׃

MAS – וילכו חמשׁת האנשׁים ויבאו לישׁה ויראו את העם אשׁר בקרבה יושׁבת לבטח כמשׁפט צדנים שׁקט ובטח ואין מכלים דבר בארץ יורשׁ עצר ורחקים המה מצדנים ודבר אין להם עם אדם

WLC – וַיֵּלְכוּ֙ חֲמֵ֣שֶׁת הָאֲנָשִׁ֔ים וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ לָ֑יְשָׁה וַיִּרְא֣וּ אֶת־הָעָ֣ם אֲשֶׁר־בְּקִרְבָּ֣הּ יֹושֶֽׁבֶת־֠לָבֶטַח כְּמִשְׁפַּ֨ט צִדֹנִ֜ים שֹׁקֵ֣ט׀ וּבֹטֵ֗חַ וְאֵין־מַכְלִ֙ים דָּבָ֤ר בָּאָ֙רֶץ֙ יֹורֵ֣שׁ עֶ֔צֶר וּרְחֹקִ֥ים הֵ֙מָּה֙ מִצִּ֣דֹנִ֔ים וְדָבָ֥ר אֵין־לָהֶ֖ם עִם־אָדָֽם׃

RAH – καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν οἱ πέντε ἄνδρες καὶ παρεγένοντο εἰς Λαισα καὶ εἶδον τὸν λαὸν τὸν κατοικοῦντα ἐν αὐτῇ καθήμενον ἐν ἐλπίδι κατὰ τὴν σύγκρισιν τῶν Σιδωνίων ἡσυχάζοντας ἐν ἐλπίδι καὶ μὴ δυναμένους λαλῆσαι ῥῆμα ὅτι μακράν εἰσιν ἀπὸ Σιδῶνος καὶ λόγος οὐκ ἦν αὐτοῖς μετὰ Συρίας

SWE – Καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν οἱ πέντε ἄνδρες καὶ ἦλθον εἰς Λάισα· καὶ εἶδαν τὸν λαὸν τὸν ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς καθήμενον ἐπ᾽ ἐλπίδι, ὡς κρίσις Σιδωνίων ἡσυχάζουσα· καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν διατρέπων ἢ καταισχύνων λόγον ἐν τῇ γῇ, κληρονόμος ἐκπιέζων θησαυροῦ· καὶ μακράν εἰσιν Σιδωνίων, καὶ λόγον οὐκ ἔχουσιν πρὸς ἄνθρωπον.
