LORD, ^(C1)lead me ^(C2)in Your righteousness ^(C3)because of my enemies; Make Your way ^(F1)straight before me.

For there is ^(C1)nothing ^(F1)trustworthy in ^(F2)their mouth; Their ^(C2)inward part is destruction itself. Their ^(C3)throat is an open grave; They ^(F3)flatter with their tongue.

Make them pay, God; ^(C1)Have them fall by their own schemes! ^(C2)Scatter them in the multitude of their wrongdoings, For they are ^(C3)rebellious against You.

But ^(C1)rejoice, all who ^(C2)take refuge in You, Sing for joy forever! And ^(F1)may You ^(C3)shelter them, That those who ^(C4)love Your name may rejoice in You.

For You ^(C1)bless the righteous person, LORD, You ^(C2)surround him with favor as with a shield.

LORD, ^(C1)do not rebuke me in Your anger, Nor discipline me in Your wrath.

Be gracious to me, LORD, for I am ^(C1)frail; ^(C2)Heal me, LORD, for ^(C3)my bones are horrified.

And my ^(C1)soul is greatly horrified; But You, LORD—^(C2)how long?

Return, LORD, ^(C1)rescue my ^(F1)soul; Save me because of Your mercy.

For ^(C1)there is no ^(F1)mention of You in death; In ^(F2)Sheol, who will praise You?

I am ^(C1)weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I flood my couch with ^(C2)my tears.

My ^(C1)eye has wasted away with grief; It has grown old because of all my enemies.

^(C1)Leave me, all you who practice injustice, For the LORD ^(C2)has heard the sound of my weeping.

The LORD ^(C1)has heard my pleading, The LORD ^(C2)receives my prayer.

All my enemies will ^(C1)be put to shame and greatly horrified; They shall ^(F1)turn back, they will ^(C2)suddenly be put to shame.

O LORD my God, ^(C1)in You I have taken refuge; Save me from all those who pursue me, and ^(C2)rescue me,

Or he will tear ^(F1)my soul ^(C1)like a lion, Dragging me away, while there is no one to rescue me.

O LORD my God, if I have done this, If there is ^(C1)injustice in my hands,

If I have ^(C1)done evil to ^(F1)my friend, Or have ^(C2)plundered ^(F2)my enemy for no reason,

Let the enemy pursue ^(F1)my soul and overtake ^(F2)it; And let him trample my life to the ground And lay my glory in the dust. Selah

^(C1)Arise, LORD, in Your anger; ^(C2)Raise Yourself against ^(C3)the rage of my enemies, And ^(C4)stir Yourself ^(F1)for me; You have ordered judgment.

Let the assembly of the ^(C1)peoples encompass You, And return on high over it.

The LORD ^(C1)judges the peoples; ^(F1)(C2)Vindicate me, LORD, according to my righteousness and my integrity that is in me.

Please let ^(C1)the evil of the wicked come to an end, but ^(C2)establish the righteous; For the righteous God ^(C3)puts hearts and ^(F1)minds to the test.

My ^(C1)shield is ^(F1)with God, Who ^(C2)saves the upright in heart.

God is a ^(C1)righteous judge, And a God who ^(C2)shows indignation every day.

If one ^(C1)does not repent, He will ^(C2)sharpen His sword; He has ^(C3)bent His bow and taken aim.

He has also prepared deadly weapons for Himself; He makes His ^(C1)arrows fiery shafts.

Behold, an evil person is pregnant with injustice, And he ^(C1)conceives harm and gives birth to lies.

He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has ^(C1)fallen into the hole which he made.

His ^(C1)harm will return on his own head, And his ^(C2)violence will descend on the top of his own head.

I will give thanks to the LORD ^(C1)according to His righteousness And will ^(C2)sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth, You who have ^(F1)(C1)displayed Your splendor above the heavens!

^(C1)From the mouths of infants and nursing babies You have established ^(F1)(C2)strength Because of Your enemies, To do away with ^(C3)the enemy and the revengeful.

When I ^(F1)(C1)consider ^(C2)Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The ^(C3)moon and the stars, which You have set in place;

^(C1)What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him?

Yet You have made him a ^(C1)little lower than ^(F1)God, And ^(C2)You crown him with ^(C3)glory and majesty!

You have him ^(C1)rule over the works of Your hands; You have ^(C2)put everything under his feet,

All sheep and oxen, And also the animals of the field,

The birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea, Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.

^(C1)LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth!
