Remember, LORD, in David's behalf, All ^(C1)his affliction;

How he swore to the LORD And vowed to ^(C1)the Mighty One of Jacob,

"I certainly will not ^(F1)enter ^(C1)my house, Nor ^(F2)lie on my bed;

I will not ^(C1)give sleep to my eyes Or slumber to my eyelids,

Until I find a ^(C1)place for the LORD, ^(F1)A dwelling place for ^(C2)the Mighty One of Jacob."

Behold, we heard about it in ^(C1)Ephrathah, We found it in the ^(C2)field of ^(F1)Jaar.

Let's go into His ^(F1)(C1)dwelling place; Let's ^(C2)worship at His ^(C3)footstool.

^(C1)Arise, LORD, to Your ^(C2)resting place, You and the ark of Your ^(C3)strength.

May Your priests be ^(C1)clothed with righteousness, And may Your ^(C2)godly ones sing for joy.

For the sake of Your servant David, Do not turn away the face of Your ^(C1)anointed.

The LORD has ^(C1)sworn to David A truth from which He will not turn back: "I will set upon your throne one ^(C2)from the fruit of your body.

-"If your sons will keep My covenant And My testimony which I will teach them, Their sons also will ^(C1)sit upon your throne forever."

For the LORD has ^(C1)chosen Zion; He has ^(C2)desired it as His dwelling place.

"This is My ^(C1)resting place forever; Here I will ^(C2)dwell, for I have desired it.

-"I will abundantly ^(C1)bless her food; I will ^(C2)satisfy her needy with bread.

-"I will also clothe her ^(C1)priests with salvation, And her ^(C1)godly ones will sing aloud for joy.

-"I will make the ^(C1)horn of David spring forth there; I have prepared a ^(C2)lamp for My anointed.

-"I will ^(C1)clothe his enemies with shame, But upon himself his ^(C2)crown will gleam."

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For ^(C1)brothers to live together in unity!

It is like the precious ^(C1)oil on the head, Running down upon the beard, As on Aaron's beard, The oil which ran down upon the ^(C2)edge of his robes.

It is like the ^(C1)dew of ^(C2)Hermon Coming down upon the ^(C3)mountains of Zion; For the LORD ^(C4)commanded the blessing there—^(C5)life forever.

Behold, ^(C1)bless the LORD, all you ^(C2)servants of the LORD, Who ^(F1)(C3)serve ^(C4)by night in the house of the LORD!

^(C1)Lift up your hands to the ^(C2)sanctuary And bless the LORD.

May the LORD ^(C1)bless you from Zion, He who ^(C2)made heaven and earth.

^(F1)(C1)Praise ^(F2)the LORD! Praise the name of the LORD; Praise Him, you ^(C2)servants of the LORD,

You who stand in the house of the LORD, In the ^(C1)courtyards of the house of our God!

^(F1)Praise ^(F2)the LORD, for ^(C1)the LORD is good; ^(C2)Sing praises to His name, ^(C3)for it is lovely.

For ^(F1)the LORD has ^(C1)chosen Jacob for Himself, Israel as His ^(C2)own possession.

For I know that ^(C1)the LORD is great And that our Lord is ^(C2)above all gods.

^(C1)Whatever the LORD pleases, He does, In heaven and on earth, in the seas and in all the ocean depths.

^(F1)He ^(C1)causes the ^(F2)mist to ascend from the ends of the earth, ^(F1)He ^(C2)makes lightning for the rain; ^(F1)He ^(C1)brings forth the wind from His treasuries.

^(F1)He ^(C1)struck the firstborn of Egypt, ^(F2)Both human firstborn and animal.

^(F1)He sent ^(C1)signs and wonders into your midst, Egypt, Upon ^(C2)Pharaoh and all his servants.

^(F1)(C1)He ^(C2)struck many nations And brought death to mighty kings,

^(C1)Sihon, king of the Amorites, ^(C2)Og, king of Bashan, And ^(C3)all the kingdoms of Canaan;

And He ^(C1)gave their land as an inheritance, An inheritance to His people Israel.

Your ^(C1)name, LORD, is everlasting, The mention of You, LORD, is ^(F1)throughout all generations.

For the LORD will ^(C1)judge His people And ^(C2)will have compassion on His servants.
