They surrounded me ^(C1)like bees; They were extinguished like a ^(C2)fire of thorn bushes; In the name of the LORD I will certainly fend them off.

You ^(C1)pushed me violently so that I ^(F1)was falling, But the LORD ^(C2)helped me.

^(F1)(C1)The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become ^(C2)my salvation.

The sound of ^(C1)joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; The ^(C2)right hand of the LORD performs valiantly.

The ^(C1)right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD performs valiantly.

I ^(C1)will not die, but live, And ^(C2)tell of the works of ^(F1)the LORD.

^(F1)The LORD has ^(C1)disciplined me severely, But He has ^(C2)not turned me over to death.

This came about from the LORD; It is marvelous in our eyes.

Then I ^(C1)will not be ashamed When I look at all Your commandments.

I will ^(C1)give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.

I will keep Your statutes; Do not utterly ^(C1)abandon me!

How can a young man keep his way pure? By ^(C1)keeping it according to Your word.

Make me understand the way of Your precepts, And I will ^(C1)meditate on Your wonders.

Remove the false way from me, And graciously grant me Your Law.

I have chosen the faithful way; I have ^(F1)placed Your judgments before me.

I ^(C1)cling to Your testimonies; LORD, do not put me to shame!

I shall run the way of Your commandments, For You will ^(C1)enlarge my heart.

^(C1)Teach me the way of Your statutes, LORD, And I shall comply with it to the end.

^(C1)Give me understanding, so that I may ^(C2)comply with Your Law And keep it ^(C3)with all my heart.

Make me walk in the ^(C1)path of Your commandments, For I ^(C2)delight in it.

^(C1)Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to ^(C2)dishonest gain.

Turn my ^(C1)eyes away from looking at what is worthless, And ^(C2)revive me in Your ways.

^(C1)Establish Your ^(F1)word to Your servant ^(F2)As that which produces reverence for You.

^(C1)Take away my disgrace which I dread, For Your judgments are good.

Behold, I ^(C1)long for Your precepts; Revive me through Your righteousness.
