^(C1)The sons of Gershon: ^(F1)Libni and Shimei, according to their families.

And ^(C1)the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel; and the ^(F1)length of Kohath's life was 133 years.

And ^(C1)the sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their generations.

Now ^(C1)Amram ^(F1)married his father's sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses; and the ^(F2)length of Amram's life was 137 years.

And ^(C1)the sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.

And ^(C1)the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, ^(F1)Elzaphan, and Sithri.

Aaron ^(F1)married Elisheba, the daughter of ^(C1)Amminadab, the sister of ^(C2)Nahshon, and she bore him ^(C3)Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

And the ^(C1)sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and ^(F1)Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.

Now Aaron's son ^(C1)Eleazar ^(F1)married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him ^(C2)Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers' households of the Levites according to their families.

It was the same Aaron and Moses to whom the LORD said, "^(C1)Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their ^(F1)(C2)multitudes."

They were the ones ^(C1)who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt ^(F1)about bringing out the sons of Israel from Egypt; it was the same Moses and Aaron.
