That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the Prophet, saying,

Behold, my seruant whom I haue chosen, my beloued in whom my soule is well pleased: I will put my spirit vpon him, and he shall shew iudgement to the Gentiles.

He shall not striue, nor cry, neither shall any man heare his voice in the streets.

A bruised reed shal he not breake, and smoking flaxe shall he not quench, till he send forth iudgment vnto victory.
Matthew 12:21
