But certainly God has heard;He has given heed to the voice of my prayer.

But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God;And let them rejoice with gladness.

But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Yahweh, at an acceptable time;O God, in the abundance of Your lovingkindness,Answer me with the truth of Your salvation.

Reproach has broken my heart and I am so sick.And I hoped for sympathy, but there was none,And for comforters, but I found none.

But I am afflicted and in pain;May Your salvation, O God, set me securely on high.

But I am afflicted and needy;Hasten to me, O God!You are my help and my protector;O Yahweh, do not delay.

But as for me, I will wait continually,And will praise You yet more and more.

But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled,My steps had almost slipped.

Whom have I in heaven but You?And besides You, I desire nothing on earth.

My flesh and my heart fail,But God is the rock of my heart and my portion forever.

But as for me, the nearness of God is my good;I have set Lord Yahweh as my refuge,That I may recount all Your works.

But God is the Judge;He puts down one and raises up another.

But as for me, I will declare it forever;I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

And all the horns of the wicked I will cut off,But the horns of the righteous will be raised up.

But You, You are fearsome;And who can stand in Your presence when once You are angry?

Your way was in the seaAnd Your paths in the mighty waters,But Your footprints were not known.

We will not conceal them from their children,But recount to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh,And His strength and His wondrous deeds that He has done.

That they should set their confidence in GodAnd not forget the deeds of God,But observe His commandments,

But they deceived Him with their mouthAnd lied to Him with their tongue.

But He, being compassionate, atoned for their iniquity and did not destroy them;And He abounded in turning back His angerAnd did not arouse all His wrath.
