For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust.

But the lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children,

Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders; They did not remember Your abundant kindnesses, But rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.

But craved intensely in the wilderness, And tempted God in the desert.

So He gave them their request, But sent a wasting disease among them.

But grumbled in their tents; They did not listen to the voice of the Lord .

But they mingled with the nations And learned their practices,

But He sets the needy securely on high away from affliction, And makes his families like a flock.

The upright see it and are glad; But all unrighteousness shuts its mouth.

In return for my love they act as my accusers; But I am in prayer.

Because he did not remember to show lovingkindness, But persecuted the afflicted and needy man, And the despondent in heart, to put them to death.

But he clothed himself with cursing as with his garment, And it entered into his body like water And like oil into his bones.

But You, O God , the Lord, deal kindly with me for Your name's sake; Because Your lovingkindness is good, deliver me;

Let them curse, but You bless; When they arise, they shall be ashamed, But Your servant shall be glad.

Not to us, O Lord , not to us, But to Your name give glory Because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your truth.

But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.

They have mouths, but they cannot speak; They have eyes, but they cannot see;

They have ears, but they cannot hear; They have noses, but they cannot smell;

They have hands, but they cannot feel; They have feet, but they cannot walk; They cannot make a sound with their throat.

The heavens are the heavens of the Lord , But the earth He has given to the sons of men.
