There are 38,000 people dying of hunger each day and most are children. And, being a celebrity, I communicate about it as much as I can.

Perhaps you could sympathize with those who seek to replace a dead child with a copy, or to copy a parent or a relative or even a celebrity.

I'm not a celebrity. I'm intentionally and defiantly not a celebrity. I don't have any interest in it. I don't have any talent for it. I keep my personal life out of my public life as cleanly as I can.

It is better for me to serve a charity as an actor or a voice, rather than at a luncheon being just a celebrity.

It's pleasant and bothersome and embarrassing all at once. Especially when you haven't done much and are a celebrity.

The nice thing about being a celebrity is that, if you bore people, they think it's their fault.

You become a celebrity, not because of your work or what you do, but because you have no privacy.

It's a cliche, but there really is no handbook about the celebrity thing; you have to figure it out as you go along.

I honestly have no interest in celebrity whatsoever. If anything, I always cringe at it because it takes away from what I am, which is an actor who wants to be better and do better things.

I'm kind of ashamed to be a celebrity. I don't understand wanting to read about other people's dirty laundry. I think celebrity is the biggest red herring society has ever pulled on itself.

Celebrity damages private life.

I still go to a salon where a gal does my hair, and I don't know if it's because I'm a celebrity but by the time I leave there, we are eating chicken and talking and screaming.

But celebrity really doesn't mean anything unless you use it for finding some way to give back and I've always felt that way.

To me, celebrity doesn't mean a whole lot unless you're willing to use it. So I wanted to use it in a different way, with my AIDS work, the human rights stuff for the gay and lesbian community and the speaking I do.

I've always felt that celebrity was wonderful for a lot of the perks that it could give you.

I don't consider myself a celebrity, and I don't consider myself a star.

If anyone can figure out how to balance my celebrity and my dual careers in music and film, it's me. I don't feel frightened; I feel challenged.

If I hadn't become a celebrity, I'd probably be an alcoholic.

A celebrity name is never enough for an intelligent mass market... truly successful businesses are born of passion and heartfelt interest.

Isn't it amazing how celebrity status preempts even the most ingrained hatreds?
