adjective blackish (Gann James 1883, Fev.-Mars. 156. no. 41, compare Israel proper name שׁחרחר on seal = 'le brun'); — feminine שְׁחַרְחֹ֫רֶת Song of Solomon 1:6.
שְׁחַרְחֹר f. שְׁחַרְחֹרֶת blackish, used of the colour of the skin, Song of Solomon 1:6. As to diminutive adjectives of the form אֲדַמְדָּם, יְרַקְרָק, see Lehrg. p. 497, and Heb. Gramm. § 54, 3, § 83, No. 23.
