Followed by בְּ to labour upon any thing, Jonah 4:10; Ecclesiastes 2:21.- Ecclesiastes 1:3, בְּכָל־עֲמָלוֹ שֶׁיַּעֲמֹלּ “of all the toil with which he toils.” Ecclesiastes 2:20, 5:17. (Arab. عَمِلَ to labour, to make). Hence
