עֲגָבִים m. pl. pleasures, delights; Ezekiel 33:32, שִׁיר עֲגָבִים “a pleasant song.” Specially things which please God. (Arab. عَجَبُ the grace or good pleasure of God.) Ezekiel 33:31, כִּי־עֲגָבִים בְּפִיהֶם הֵמָּה עֹשִׂים “for with their mouth they do what is pleasing to God (opp. to), but their heart follows after gain.”
