[מָרוּק] (Kö ii. 138) noun [masculine] a scraping, rubbing; — only plural suffix יְמֵי מְרוּקֵיהֶן Esther 2:12 literally the days of their (bodily) rubbings, i.e. the year's preparation of girls for the harem.
