Brown-Driver-Briggs Expanded Definition
[טְבוּל] noun masculine turban (see Sim in Thes Rob Ges Dl l.c.) — only סְרוּחֵי טְבוּלִים בְּראֹשֵׁיהֶם Ezekiel 23:15 extended in respect to turbans on their heads = with pendant turbans (Dl Song of Solomon , compare Da) > Hi-Sm who compare Arabic dye (see I. טבל).

Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition
טְבוּלִים m. plur. head-bands, tiaras, turbans, Ezekiel 23:15. Commonly derived from טָבַל to dip, to which corresponds Arab. طمل to die. I prefer taking it from Ethiop. ጠብለለ፡ to twist round, to twist round with bands.
