Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition
חֲזִיר m. hog, swine, Levit. 11:7. Syr. ܚܙܝܺܪܐܳ, Arab. خِنْزِيرُ with the insertion of Nun, id., whence the verb غزر to have narrow (piglike) eyes, seems to be derived.
