בַּצָּרָה noun feminine dearth, destitution (i.e. diminution, compare PS572; see also verb בצרᵑ7 Proverbs 14:28 people reduced) — dearth (= בצרת) ׳עִתּוֺת בּ Psalm 9:10; Psalm 10:1; plural בַּצָּרוֺת Jeremiah 14:1.
בַּצֹּרֶת fem. restraint, sc. of rain, drought, Jeremiah 17:8. LXX. ἀβροχία. Pl. בַּצָּרוֹת (compare Lehrgeb. p. 600) Jeremiah 14:1. Some incorrectly refer to this בַּצָּרָה Psalms 9:10, 10:1, in which the ב is servile.
