אֱדַיִן Ch. adv. afterwards, then, i.q. Heb. אָז, אֲזַי, prop. times, from the singular אֲדֵא (from the root אָדָה = עָדָה, אָזָה to pass by); Daniel 2:15, 17, 19 בֵּאדַיִן prop. “at the same time,” i.e. immediately; Daniel 2:14, 35 3:13, 19, 21, 26, אֱדַיִן “from that time forth;” Ezra 5:16, i.q. Heb. מֵאָז. [But see אָז.]
