בִּכּוּרָה f. an early fig, regarded as a delicacy on that account, Micah 7:1; Hosea 9:10; Isaiah 28:4 (where it is better with some copies to read בִּכּוּרָה with ה without Mappik, than בִּכּוּרָהּ, with the Masor. and edit. as the suffix. is weak); in Morocco now called بوكر, باكورة boccôre, Spanish Albacora.
