σοφία appears as a title of honour in P Oxy VIII. 1165.6 (vi/A.D.) ἡ ὑμετέρα ἀδελφικὴ σοφία, ";your fraternal wisdom,"; and PSI VII. 790.14 (vi/A.D. ?) παρακαλῶ [τὴν ] ὑμῶν σοφ [ί ]αν κελεῦσαι κτλ. For the ordinary NT use of the word, see Lightfoot ad Colossians 1:9, and Notes p. 317 f.
