1. of other (i.e. foreign) tongue, Plb. 23.13.2, Str. 8.1.2; ἐν ἑτερογλώσσοις λαλεῖν by men of foreign tongue, 1 Corinthians 14:21, cf. Onos. 26.2, Aq. Isaiah 33:19.
2. of diverse tongues, ζῷα Ph. 1.406.
