פֶּלֶךְ m. with suff. פִּלְכּוֹ m.
(1) a circle, circuit, environs (Kreis, Bezirk) i.e. כִּכָּר (Arab. فَلَكَةُ, Chald. פֶּלֶךְ id.) Nehemiah 3:9, seqq. פֶּלֶךְ יְרוּשָׁלַיִם “the region around Jerusalem,” Nehemiah 3:12, 14, 15.
