Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition

קָצַע not used in Kal.

(1) i.q. Arabic قطح to cut, to cut off, to lop; hence מַקְצוּעָה carving tool, מִקְצוֹעַ a corner.

(2) to scrape, to peel, hence קְצִיעָה.

Hiphil, to scrape, i.q. קָצָה Hiphil, Leviticus 14:41.

Pual, part, מְהֻקְצָעוֹת, i.q. מִקְצוֹעִים, corners, Ezekiel 46:22 pr. places cut off, cut away.
