b. son of Josiah, made king by Pharaoh 2 Kings 23:34; 2 Chronicles 36:4; = יְהוֺיָקִים 2 Kings 24:1; Jeremiah 1:3; 1 Chronicles 3:15.

c. a priest Nehemiah 12:41.

אֶלְיָקִים (“whom God has set”), Eliakim, pr.n.

(1) the prefect of the palace in the reign of Hezekiah. 2 Kings 18:18, 19:2 Isaiah 22:20, 36:3.

(2) a son of king Josiah, made king by Necho, king of Egypt, who changed his name to יוֹיָקִים (“whom Jehovah has set”). 2 Kings 23:34, 24:1 Jeremiah 1:3; 1 Chronicles 3:15.

(3)  Nehemiah 12:41.
