יִדְאֲלָה (“that which God has shown,” for יֶדְלְלָהּ with a Syriac inflexion from دَلَّ to show [So according to Simonis; “or, perhaps from a doubtful root דָּאַל i.q. Arab. دَأَلَ and ذَأَلَ to go softly and secretly”]). [Idalah], pr.n. of a town in the tribe of Zebulon. Joshua 19:15.
